Today we remember Corporal Tim Bowe.  On this day in 1997, Corporal Bowe was shot and killed in Chisago County as he and three Deputies closed in on a suspect involved in a shooting call.  He was a Trooper for 15 years and is survived by his wife and two children.

I was able to assist with the rescue/recovery of an injured bald eagle. It ran into a motorist who called it in to report the incident. I responded and was able to help get it recovered. Hwy108 just east of I94 (Wilkin County) 8/29/24. It’s on its way to the Raptor Center now.

Today we remember Corporal Ted Foss.  On August 31, 2000, Corporal Foss was struck on I90 by a semi while on a traffic stop.  He was survived by his wife and two children.  The Ted Foss move over law was enacted as a result of Corporal Foss’ sacrifice.
