With all of the indoor recesses, we've been talking a lot about the many Canadians affected by these devastating fires. We discussed how often, in times of trouble, countries around the world come together. These South African firefighters have arrived in Edmonton, here to help!

We've started our Passion Projects this week. Students are researching a topic of interest and taking jot notes. We will be turning those notes into a digital presentation.

It’s the final challenge of our STEM week adventure. Today we’re designing and building a hanger that will hold rovers and landers. DDSB STEM

This afternoon we’re partnering with Ontario Tech University Engineering Outreach! Ss are using their knowledge of the engineering design process, block code, measurement, and angles to program their Dash and Dot to follow the constellation. DDSB STEM

Our annual @whitby_shores Primary Play Day is underway!

After a very energetic and fun Play Day morning we had a calm afternoon with art, coding, and mindfulness. In art we’re learning about Swiss sculptor and painter Alberto Giacometti

This morning we are writing our final Month in Review. It’s always fun to look back to see how much we’ve grown as writers this year!

This morning students worked together on a “Grade Three Survival Guide” and their tips and tricks will be shared with the new grade threes next year. There seems to be a few common words of advice 🤣

We're back from our Primary Year-end trip to see Elemental. Looks like double thumbs up from most grade 3 critics!
