Strathfield Square by night; Who said Australians don’t know how to use public space in a sociable way? Need the opportunity, mix of street life & density, mix of ages & affordability. & of course the diversity & city-living smarts that multiculturalism brings #publicsydney

Another 100% spot-on piece by Ronni🧂Salt NowOnBlueSkySocial Love this quote "Rather than confronting Australian politicians with punchy interview questions guaranteed to upset the Liberal party’s emotional support senator Sarah Henderson at Estimates,..." 1/2 🐝 #auspol theshot.net.au/news/general-n…

He wanted to be with me for this, & I so wish he was. We talked about the next #Dickson campaign a LOT. Henry was looking forward to it. He’d be so chuffed that the campaign against #Dutton has begun. Vale my baby Henry. ❤️💔

The one where.. Peter Dutton, as Home Affairs Minister, awarded a $500 million contact to a company registered to a beach shack on Kangaroo Island, with just $50,000 in capital, without a competitive tender process. #auspol

The Senate could've voted today to support the Albanese Govt's crucial housing bills to help 40K low & middle income Aussies buy a home. It shocks me that in a housing shortage, the Liberals, Nationals & the Greens would join forces to prevent these laws from passing. #Blockers

The one where Peter Dutton voted consistently against making the abortion pill more widely available. Just like David Crisafulli and the LNP in QLD have voted consistently to keep abortion a crime. The Liberals & Nationals want control of our bodies. 🤮#auspol #qldpol

Qld LNP Rockhampton candidate Donna Kirkland's beliefs on abortion are "not part of our plan, we've ruled it out". She also ruled out questions & a conscience vote for when KAP raise the repeal bill. David Crisafulli stepped back in to muddy it all further. #qldvotes

#EXCLUSIVE: During the #QLDelection campaign, LNP opposition leader David Crisafulli has refused to answer this abortion question more than 132 times. We've unearthed this video where he says exactly what he thinks Read the story theguardian.com/australia-news… #qldpol #qldvotes

The ECQ have begun distributing LNP preferences in South Brisbane, the party having finished third behind Labor after the distribution of One nation preferences. This means Labor has gained South Brisbane from the Greens. #qldvotes

FYI if Peter #Dutton loses his seat, he can’t run the country!!! Just saying! That’s why you should absolutely donate to our campaign in #Dickson 🙏 donate.queenslandlabor.org/ali-france-for…

So Woolworths is prepared to lose $50 million in sales while it starves out its striking warehouse workers. The surveillance and conditions these workers endure is completely beyond the pale. I am tempted never to shop in their supermarkets ever again - despite the inconvenience.
