At MIM 2018, Pedro Alonso, head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Malaria Program said in 1st session: "Insecticide resistance is an issue in many countries, however pyrethroid LLINs still remain effective. Despite this, approval of PBO LLINs has been given and new tools are needed."
