I've created some simple CPD principles to help design effective training for staff. Thought I'd share in case anyone was interested! Purpose is to ensure all CPD is high-quality and research-based, but also provide staff with implementable ideas and time to do exactly that

Why is it useful to learn times tables?

I devour the content from Doug Lemov's field notes. You can see in this case that the techniques are not talked about in isolation, as critics of "the technical side" of teaching often claim. They are "clustered" as oliver caviglioli calls it. Link to blog below.
