This morning we have been classifying geometric shapes as part of our maths learning. We used technology to allow us to physically move the shapes into the correct place on our Carroll and Venn diagrams.

It has been a lovely day at Castleshaw Archaeology today. We have really enjoyed finding a source of the River Mersey and also managed to stop off at this amazing viewpoint this morning before lunch! Richmond Academy .

Then in the afternoon, we went pond (stream) dipping. We managed to find some sticklebacks, mayflies and even a couple of crayfish. We learnt that this meant the water source wasn’t polluted!

This morning in Year 6 we have enjoyed identifying the purpose of leaflets. We looked at a range of different leaflets before identifying the purpose as well as similarities and differences.
