So everybody knows that an “Islamist” is not a Muslim or a follower of Islam. It’s a made up, racist slur to belittle my religion. And unfortunately millions won’t know the difference between a follower of Islam and what this hate mongerer is saying. I am victimised by my own

📺WATCH: Daniel Kebede responds to Gillian Keegan's letter that she’s "disappointed" in us criticising the Government on social media.🤔 🤯TBF Gillian, we’re disappointed your Government’s Budget had none of the extra cash our schools desperately need. Let's send a message

Hi Gillian Keegan Will you be publishing the STRB report? We understand it's on your desk, along with the pay recommendation. 90% of our members voted yes to strike if it's not inflation + and fully funded. Schools need to plan their budgets, Teachers need to know what

Kevin Courtney (@cyclingkev) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Why sit on the report Gillian Keegan? In talks last year you said you would publish earlier in future. If you have it, which you do, then publish it; why the delay? It is so disrespectful to Governors, Heads and teachers.

This is just noise for the dark corners of Fleet Street, from a Secretary of State that is stewarding the deepest teacher shortage in generations.

An extended case study on why this is a self defeating argument - using Teesside University, which Simon is rightly very proud of.

You can try to address the big important issues (hard) or tinker with headline seeking culture war issues (with little evidence of a legitimate existing problem that needs solving) Keegan goes for the latter. Ridiculous and transparent. The sooner this party is out the better

A massive congratulations to children receiving their SATs results today, and to the teachers and staff who have supported them along the way. Under this government, the education workforce will be valued for the thing you do best: improving the life chances of all our children.

We’re resetting the relationship between the government and teachers, so we can be partners in the push for better once again. No more silly games. We will treat the workforce, and their trade unions, with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Pleased to have met with Bridget Phillipson today. I left reassured that this is a government ready to properly engage and put education at the centre of progress. I’m sure things will be tough now and then but joint ambition and mutual respect is a very good start NAHT

Meaningful dialogue. The last time I was in a room with a Secretary of State, they wanted to impose anti-democratic minimum service levels. Now we are talking about a journey of renewal. A positive change in direction.
