National 5 Drama started their stimulus exploration and discussions as part of their Drama Skills unit! Looking forward to seeing how they respond to them and what direction their drama take!

S2 Personalisation and Choice have today started looking at health and safety of SFX makeup and conducted patch tests. This is part of their exploration of historical Scottish witch trials which they have used to further develop into fictional character grounded in reality.

This week S1 learners has been working with scripts. We have been focusing on textual clues about characters and understanding and using stage directions to add movement to our scenes! 🎭📖

S2 Personalisation and Choice Drama class smashing stage makeup this quadrant! This week they were learning about bruise application with a bruise wheel!

Fancy a night of banging movie tunes performed by some amazing local talent and a cheeky wee cameo by yours truly. Been a while since I’ve sung on stage but it’s been a pleasure to rehearse with MAMA!

Not even an I.T outage can stop the N5s. Today we focused on some rehearsal activities, Hot Seating and Writing in Role to deepen their understanding of their characters and think about details and inner thoughts that might help in their portrayal of them on stage!

After a challenging few days for anyone this week, i was so grateful to receive this note today. It’s always nice to see acts of kindness displayed and reminds me of why I love my job so much! ❤️❤️
