Getting into the spirit to support Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

A couple of highlights from free flow this week 🤩. M created her very own restaurant using the Lego. E and O were using cups to print the Olympic Rings. A group of children enjoyed a game of ‘schools’ and another group built an amazing hotel in the block area!

We had a brilliant first day in P2H - lots of smiling faces all round. Looking forward to our year ahead. 😃

Revisiting our school values today, starting with happy. We enjoyed discussing the things that make us happy then we did a word aware thinking about the meaning and synonyms of happy. We finished with our word rap 👏

A few of our literacy tasks so far this week. We have been revising our learning from P1 which includes building CVC words, sorting pictures by their sound and working on letter formation. A busy start to our second week in Primary 2! 👏🌟

P2 now have access to Sumdog in class and are enjoying using this for maths. We also have been ‘shining brightly’ whilst working on sun artwork at the creative area. A worked hard to create her very own fairy house today-Amazing work A, the detail you have added is brilliant!🌟
