In an effort to control this pandemic and flatten the curve of any and all coronavirus cases, all Minneapolis Public School athletic contests are cancelled indefinitely. Please know that all practices will continue as long as school is in session.

Today’s fundraiser has been postponed as people are encouraged to practice social distancing to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. We thank Agra Culture for their flexibility. They remain open and have take out and delivery options.

.Governor Tim Walz has ordered schools to close by Wed, March 18 to reduce the spread of COVID-19. MPS will be OPEN for school on Mon, March 16 to help staff and families prepare, and be CLOSED on Tues, March 17. At this time, classes are scheduled to resume April 6.

Baseball tryouts that were set to begin tomorrow are CANCELLED. Coach Mountain would like to meet with players tomorrow, Mon, 3/16 at 3:15 at SWHS. We're working on a specific location, so watch for email updates. The soonest any baseball activities will take place will be 4/6

All high school players grades 9-12 who are going to try out for baseball meet in East gym at 3:15 for a brief mtg Middle school players do NOT need to attend We will email additional info If players do not come to school on Mon, they do NOT need to come back for the meeting
