Today, I joined Harlem Mothers S.A.V.E on National Day of Remembrance to honor those who we have lost to senseless violence. May we pay tribute to their legacies and lives by rooting out the hate that took them from us, and instilling love into those communities.
Today, we celebrate a milestone of this administration — over 20,000 guns seized since Mayor Eric Adams Adams took office. Shootings are down, murders are down, and this department continues to move in the right direction to keep our communities safe.
