Great to be on CNN with Jim Jim Acosta to talk about my campaign and how reproductive rights are on the ballot this November. As an OB-GYN, I know how important it is to have voices in Washington who speak up for women and families.

Extreme abortion bans are unjust & dangerous. As an OB-GYN, I know how rapidly pregnant women can decline, so even exceptions “for the life of the mother” are too vague & put women’s lives at risk. These medical decisions need to be made by women & their doctors—not politicians.

Another great day at the Minnesota State Fair ! The Minnesota DFL Party booth continued to be packed, we ran into Jeanne Massey and constituents and volunteers, and LuLu’s deep-fried ranch dressing was even better than advertised!
