Important distinction by @AustinNxPodcast Jani Tuomi - Austin should not strive to match what Boston/etc has. Don’t talk about sq feet of wet lab / traditional measures. The future is health tech. Talk about insilico / simulations / access to compute / access to data

Loading the 1500 page budget stop gap and into ChatGPT and exploring via AI does not offset the too-few-hours-to-review but it’s a far more effective and insightful way to explore than any prior budget review I’ve conducted…

In life sciences we need to accept more probabilistic outcomes when using AI. And understand that humans are probabilistic too. Not all solve problem the same. Not a problem when humans perform tasks. Same mentality should apply to AI (and of course it needs to be right..)

Yes to all this. And big implications for systems of record / ERP’s. Play this forward 10 years and I’m not sure how many survive the next upgrade cycle as companies of same size / valuation.

Regardless what you want to find in the book Original Sin by Jake Tapper 🦅 Alex Thompson is good read on a crazy moment and case study on risks of compartmentalized decision making. Sometimes you need to hunker down and go, other times you are myopic. You only know which in arrears.

Wow, really impressed with OpenAI Agent functionality. Initial thought was 'ok, its next version of deep research' but when you use it you discover its so much more.
