The District 9A Softball tournament will begin on Monday, May 5. All games will take place at the Moore County High School softball field. Your Raiderettes will face Huntland in the first round at 7:00 pm. Check the graphic for game times.

Moore County Athletics Schedule: May 4th - May 10th. High school softball, tennis, and baseball are all in postseason play, while middle school baseball continues to battle for a state berth in the Area Tournament. We will update reschedules if Mother Nature interferes.

Raiders advance to the District 9A Tournament Championship against Eagleville after defeating Fayetteville 4-2. They will play Eagleville at 4:30 pm on May 5th at Eagleville. The Raiders have secured a bid to the Region 5A tournament with their win tonight.

The Moore County High School Baseball team is scheduled to start its Regional Tournament tomorrow. They will travel to Eagleville to play against Richland at 4:00 pm in an elimination game.

The Moore County Raiders survive behind the arm of Landon Smith and advance to rematch against Richland in the regional finals with a substate berth on the line. The game will take place at Eagleville at 6:00 PM.

Post-Season is the Real Season: The Moore County Raiders avenged their loss to Richland to be the Region 5A Runner-up, and advance to Sub-State. The Raiders are set to face McKenzie in a best-of-three series on Wednesday, May 14th.

The Moore County High School Softball team will hold tryouts on Friday, May 23rd, at 10:00 AM. Players are encouraged to wear proper attire and cleats and bring a water bottle. If you have questions or concerns, Contact Coach Conn or Coach Prater.

Neal Childress and Logan Trussell advanced to doubles in the State Tournament at Spring Fling, defeating Fairview 6-1, 6-2. They will compete in Boys Doubles on May 22-23.

The 2025-2026 Sports Physicals will be held at Moore County High School on May 20th, starting at 12:00 PM. Athletes must bring $10 and have their Final Forms paperwork printed out. Mrs. Dye has copies available if needed.
