Fun fact: the first words ever spoken by Mickey Mouse in 1929’s The Karnival Kid were “Hot dogs! Hot dogs!” It was voiced by Walt Disney, no less. Why is this video (an obvious homage published 8 years ago) suddenly worth drawing attention to?

The defunding of NPR & PBS is one of the worst things you could do to media and education. I know it doesn't seem like much, but those outlets revolutionized the news and entertainment. They've continued to be a voice for the public. They don't bow to advertisers & ratings.

As someone who played in a punk band, its both a nice gesture and a concerning idea that the Superman film is leading people to the idea of "kindness is punk rock" because real punk rock has always been about kindness, love, acceptance, and fighting tyranny. Nothing new. Welcome!
