“Oh-“ Giggle! “I’m sure it’s FINE. It’s bright and colourful, perfect for catching those pony eyes! And hippogriffs and dragons and yaks and changelings and-.. I should stop talking.”

“Aaa.. Aaaaa.. AAAAAACHOO!”

Squeaks! “No, YOU’RE adorbs!”

With it no longer being early dawn, the eccentric mare finally makes her way to Rarity’s boutique, a jolly pep in her step as per the norm. “This note was totally vague.. I hope it’s nothing too serious.” GASP! “What if there’s a cloth thief in town!”

“Heehee, hello Rarity! Goooood morning, I should say! How have you been? How’s the boutique? How’s Twi-.. I should stop talking, huh?” She bounds forward, mane bouncing almost in tandem with the mare, prosthetic clacking against the hard floor.

“Twelveteen forty! ....What?” She shakes her head with a gleeful giggle, trotting on over to where Rarity leads her, gawking at the intricate maps laid out on the table. “WhooOAAAA! Are you going on some kind of trip? Is it a FASHION quest?”

“What’dya need? A shawl for the cold nights? A headtorch?! Oooo, what about mechanical wings?!” LOOMS! “....Actually, I haven’t figured them out yet.” She brings a hoof to her lips in a pout, soon replacing it with her signature gleeful grin, aimed at Rarity.

“OHAI Yona! How’s that shawl your pony got for you? It’ll be too warm for that soon, don’tcha know?” Beat. “Wait.. Rarity, you want ME to run the boutique while you’re gone? ME?! But.. why? Thank you! But why?”

“Touuuuuché, Yona! Glad to see you’re liking it though!” She spins back around with enthusiasm, pausing at Rarity’s wording. “Don’t make me blush! But I’d love to watch over this place for you! ....on one condition.”

“Pig- Nooooo! As much as I LOVE animals, I don’t think I’ll be turning this place into a zoo, Rarity!” She giggles, zipping on over to a line of half finished dresses, admiring the stitching as she speaks. “Nope! What I want is space!”

“Space! Like.. over here!” Kerfuffle darts past Rarity and over to the window, standing on her hind legs to spread her forehooves as wide as she can. “Could hang some scarves here! Or over here!” Zipping past once more, she halts by the door.

“You mean it?! Really really? Oh thank you, THANK YOU, Rarity! And you Yona! Thank you both!” She squeaks, bounding around in a circle before pausing with her hoof raised to her mouth, emitting a giggle of excitement. “And I’ll do my very best!”

Her eyes widen, mouth agape, watching Rarity as she makes her way over to the inspiration board. “That sounds so ingenious! I totally need to come up with something like that.. with the alliteration and stuffs!”

“So true! You two really know your stuff! I’m definitely going to be spending al night reading up about this now!”

“Yes yes! And I’ll be ready and raring to go when you do! For now, it’s lunch time! Have a good rest of the day, Rarity! And you too, Yona!” As she makes her exit, Kerfuffle waves as enthusiastically as ever.

“...You want a neon satin gown with a /what/ on the outer hoop skirt? Oh, I.. I don’t think that’ll work.” And this, folks.. is when Kerfuffle meets her first Karen.

With a doe-eyed stare, the young seamstress looks on at the mountains and mountains of gala dresses lined up on the racks, a free unfinished ones strewn beneath sewing machines. “...Why did Miss. Rarity leave this to /me/?”
