SETF urges Congress to vote NO on H.R. 4427. This bill undermines President Trump’s new Syria policy and extends damaging sanctions until 2028—sanctions meant for Assad, not the Syrian people. SETF stands firmly for full repeal of the Caesar Act and supports H.R. 3941 instead.

U.S. policymakers must vote NO on this bill (H.R. 4427) that keeps the Caesar Act. It is the moral obligation of Congress to fully repeal Caesar which was about punishing Assad not the Syrian people.

The Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act was created to protect the Syrian people and against Assad. Anyone willing to have this law continue and not repeal truly means harm to ALL SYRIANS. This is very worrisome and concerning. I urge to vote NO to H.R. 4427.
