A true hero. Thank you Farid Al-Madhhan. His bravery is truly admirable.. he risked not only his own life but his entire family’s life in order to spread the truth about the murderous and notorious Assad regime. Families like mine will forever be grateful.

Thankfully, today, #Syria is finally free! Sadly, today also marks eight years since we last heard my father’s voice before the brutal and murderous Assad regime took his life. May God grant him heaven, and may justice prevail!

Today marks the horrific day in 2017 when we learned my father had been kidnapped & disappeared by the Assad regime in Damascus, Syria. An award winning humanitarian, trauma expert, loving grandfather.. detained, tortured & killed without a crime, case or trial. RIP dad 😔

Children sparked the Syrian revolution. They endured torture, exile, and war—yet never gave up. And now, they’ve done the impossible: They’ve freed their country from Assad’s tyranny. Now, Syria stands at a crossroads, but it can't become the first Arab democracy without

SETF urges Congress to vote NO on H.R. 4427. This bill undermines President Trump’s new Syria policy and extends damaging sanctions until 2028—sanctions meant for Assad, not the Syrian people. SETF stands firmly for full repeal of the Caesar Act and supports H.R. 3941 instead.

U.S. policymakers must vote NO on this bill (H.R. 4427) that keeps the Caesar Act. It is the moral obligation of Congress to fully repeal Caesar which was about punishing Assad not the Syrian people.

The Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act was created to protect the Syrian people and against Assad. Anyone willing to have this law continue and not repeal truly means harm to ALL SYRIANS. This is very worrisome and concerning. I urge to vote NO to H.R. 4427.

House Financial Services Committee decided to move forward a bill extending Caesar with new conditions instead of a full repeal of the Caesar Act. Caesar was against Assad not the Syrian people making it the moral obligation of Congress to repeal immediately, it also undermines

I welcome these efforts by the newly formed commission for the missing in #Syria. With 100s of 1000s missing, every life is precious, Syrian or foreign. Dr. Jalkhi has personally reached out to assure that American cases, alongside all others, remain a deep priority.
