Dr. Clark, head of our emergency & critical care dept., recently became the K-9 Special Ops Unit Veterinary Medical Director for @District7 Fire & Rescue. This allows her to work closely with District 7 to provide training & resources that help our working K-9s across the city!

Lucky came in to see us for persistent lethargy & vomiting. He didn’t seem to mind an ultrasound that helped determine what was making him sick one bit. Just look at that 😀! After a surgery to remove a foreign body from his GI tract & a short recovery, Lucky was feeling better!

Waylon is all smiles (and a little tongue!) because he completed his chemotherapy protocol! We are happy to report that he is in complete remission after fighting B Cell Lymphoma, and we couldn’t be more excited for Waylon and his family! 🎉

Meet Tiller, a pup who got into some grapes! 🍇 Luckily, his parents knew that grapes are toxic to dogs & brought him in as soon as they noticed. (Timing is key with toxicities - the faster the treatment, the better.) Tiller had to be hospitalized, but is doing great now!

Meet, Clubby! Don't worry, your eyes aren't seeing double (or triple). Clubby has three paws on one leg! One of our technicians was recently adopted by this sweet cat & brought him in to check on his abnormal foot. Beyond being a little different, his paws are perfectly fine! 🐾
