Starting off our Rocks and Minerals unit by painting the inside of the Earth to discover which layer rocks come from!

Pattern fun in grade 1!

Today in science we made (and ate) sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous “rocks” out of laffy taffy to see how each rock is formed.

In math we completed number puzzles from 1-10, took pictures of our work, and uploaded them to Seesaw!

We loved collecting Fall leaves and reporting all about our findings!

We made a worms and dirt dessert to learn about the different layers of soil!
