With butter prices weakening both domestic and EU our 25tBSC price has come under pressure this wk which has dragged the low end of our range lower by 3p/kg thus £2.75kg to £2.80kg ex works. Spot milk price range holding steady 38ppl (to sell) rising to 45ppl (if needing to buy).

25tBSC prices continue under pressure both here and EU with our domestic range now £2.72kg to £2.76/kg ex works (this being c. 55pkg lower than this time last year). Planned shutdown season now about to begin, should keep the heat out of a quiet spot milk market 38ppl to 45ppl.

EU cream & butter prices driving the negativity, buyers stepping back while traders push to see how low prices can be driven. Hence 25tBSC range is significant £2.27kg to £2.68kg ex works, c £2.60 ex main trade. EU dom range £2.26 to £2.36kg ex equiv. Spot milk prices unchanged.

It is October and the system is awash with milk, some trying to run maintenance shutdowns are struggling to place the milk on any terms. Hence the spot milk price range has widened with distressed loads fetching low as 18ppl to some requiring a top up paying as high as 34ppl del.

25tBSC prices have dropped considerably as the week has progressed with EU butter and cream prices taking another downturn. UK butter reported to be a little more stable at the moment. The range for UK cream from traders and manufacturers this wk put at £1.82 to £1.94kg ex works.

For those not lucky enough to be retailer aligned. Our StoneXMilkpricescom UKMFE is now at a 4yr low having lost 10ppl since the start of August with little signs of stopping. Milk production needs to drop quickly otherwise most milk price cuts implemented to date will seem tame

milkprices.com (@milkpricescom) 's Twitter Profile Photo

25tBSC prices down again £1.80kg to £1.85kg ex wks with export around £1.91 ex equivalent on EU dom price circa £2.10 ex equiv. Spot milk prices, simply no one needs the milk, main trading range 18ppl (S) to 25ppl (B) but some distressed loads going for as low as 12ppl delivered.

milkprices.com (@milkpricescom) 's Twitter Profile Photo

25tBSC prices under pressure again, trading range put at £1.70kg to £1.82kg ex works, with no reports of better returns for export. Spot milk prices are ugly with no one really wanting milk, the range anything from 7ppl (s) to 23ppl (B) delivered. Unheard of for this time of year

milkprices.com (@milkpricescom) 's Twitter Profile Photo

25tBSC prices ranging from £1.66kg to £1.75kg ex works for domestic up to £1.82kg for export, most reporting around £1.70/£1.75kg ex level. Not hearing the lows of the previous week for spot milk, price range still not great, 12ppl if forced to sell up to 25ppl if needing to buy.
