I’ve known Scyld Berry since he was A.S.I. Berry in the Observer in the 1970s. He’s always been an agreeable, quirky cove & his latest book is a career best. Cricket has changed remarkably over Scyld’s career but his sane, unbiased assessments still resonate. Well played sir!
