Wonder is not something we find. It finds us. It arrives uninvited, usually when we are least prepared—when a child asks a question we cannot answer, when a leaf falls in just the right light, when grief cracks open the chest and we see, suddenly, how vast and strange the world

There’s a unique stillness on the water as Georgina and I head out from the harbour at Little Bay Islands, a quiet that feels like a special gift just for us. The sky, painted in the soft, hopeful colours of a new day, mirrors itself on the glassy surface of the bay. The gentle

Pumpernickel captured me perfectly this morning out on the fishing grounds. I think this photo encapsulates so much of who I am. I love it and I love me.

The sunflower is a reminder to turn ourselves toward what nourishes our own spirit, to seek out the light in our own lives with the same steady, unwavering grace. It stands as a testament to the beauty of a simple, honest existence.

It been almost a year since Mom and Dad had to leave Little Bay Islands. Little did we know then that he would never step foot on the island again. Today, Mom brought him home one last time. Home to the place he loved more than any other on Earth, brought by the person he loved

It is a strange and quiet thing, to lose a father. The world, once so solid and predictable in its orbit around his presence, feels suddenly unmoored. For a month now, I have been navigating this new, unfamiliar geography of absence. The landmarks of daily life are different.
