Sad sad news As a kid one of the comforting parts of moving to Northern Alberta was how cool the ITV sports coverage was. When we got cable it was just in time to see the cool guy from Edmonton nationally. Thanks to Duchy for being such a huge part of my childhood love of sports

Was I going insane last night or did I see multiple people on the Oilers broadcast putting McDavid ahead of a guy who has: 3 Stanley Cups 2 Gold Medals McDavid is with Mario, Wayne and Orr as the most talented to ever play. But he's not a better PLAYER than Crosby...yet

I hope this team doesn't come back to win this tournament and overshadow that Hockey Canada needs to learn a lesson fast. Hockey in Canada has never been more dynamic, exciting and talented than today. A shame that HC has chosen to showcase the opposite.

Both very true - will add a third thing which is that nobody has drawn more penalties since 2015-16 than McDavid and his minor penalty differential is 51 better than the 2nd-highest player.
