I've covered college football for over 50 years. I love this job which is why I'm still at it when I could have retired years ago. But there is a part of the job that I hate. Every year there is a big name team that falls on its face out of the gate. For its fans it's a shock

No Kool aid. They were totally unprepared for this game. That's on all of them, Pittman, his staff, the players. Last year's team played much better on the road than at home. So far it's happening again. You can't expect your fans to support you when you don't play for them.
