Interesting visit to Oxburgh Estate in Norfolk today. Very fine needlework cushion cover by Mary Queen of Scot’s ( note the hand and sickle cutting the barren vine of Elizabeth 1st but leaving the fertile vine of Mary, a treasonous message).
