Last late post. Had a blast being the UT Dallas site director for the U.S. National Science Foundation funded UT System LSAMP for the 2nd year. Had a great group of students and had a couple poster presentation winners at our conference! Thanks a ton to my co-director Dr. Erica L. Sanchez for the help at the helm.

Check out the lab's new article in Biology of Sex Differences discussing the influence of sex on neuroimmune communciation, pain, and physiology. This was a group effort with 4 co-first authors and input from all levels of trainees from undergraduate to postdocs. link.springer.com/article/10.118…

She marks the 5th PhD student to graduate from the Neuroimmunology and Behavior Lab @ UT Dallas. She's moving on to a postdoc at Tulane National Primate Research Center UT Dallas
