Islamist gangs now control some prison wings. There are even reports of sharia courts enforced by floggings. There can be no alternative authority to the British state👇

📺Watch Lincolnshire Council's Reform Leader fail to answer the most basic of questions. How on earth is he going to run a council?? 🧐 The British public deserve serious representation, not more of Reform's showbiz and hollow slogans.

What connects Gerry Adams, Shamima Begum and scores of islamist terrorists? They're all former clients of Keir Starmer's Attorney General.

I asked the Prime Minister about the two-child benefit cap. He responded with…Kremlin propaganda. We haven’t seen a Labour leader do this in parliament since Jeremy Corbyn after the Salisbury poisonings.

Good to speak to BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss what steps I’ve taken to push for proper justice for the killers of Bhim Kholi. We discussed the unduly lenient sentences, the need for greater parental responsibility and what more the Government can do to improve our prison system.

Great to attend the Annual Parish Meeting in Swithland last night. As they hold one meeting a year, I make every effort to attend to speak to the residents. I always receive a warm welcome.

NEW: 'No idea, genuinely': Watch as Reform economic chief gets confused over existing relationships between Notts County Council and regional leaders. Cllr James Walker-Gurley, a new Reform cabinet member in Notts, sat down with us last week. It didn't go well. Lauren Monaghan

Reform have “no idea, genuinely” on how to deliver for Nottinghamshire - they are putting at risk our vital public services while being paid £45,000 each

Michael..that is not quite true. I thought we had a very civilised telephone conversation this morning. You asked me if you could sub, I explained Cabinet members cannot sit on Scrutiny. Nothing to do with all of the things you have raised below. At least be honest.

The (Un)fair Funding Review? 💼 Labour's plans to strip efficient councils of their funds to reward their poorly run local authorities. ⬇️

Reform UK’s new Leader of @warwickshire_cc is 18 year old Cllr George Finch. Now we’re not saying he has 0 experience, but it appears his own Register of Interest does… He doesn’t appear to have had a job before this. He also thinks dragons are real.

Would you trust the running of your council to an 18 year old? Well, that's what's just happened in Warwickshire, where the recently elected council leader has already resigned - leaving George (18) in charge of £500 million of taxpayer money. Reform are not a serious Party.

"Reform will fix it?" It's been less than two months since the local elections, and Reform chaos is causing havoc at town halls across the country. mol.im/a/14853739

UK inflation is once again up and now sits at 3.6%.🙄*Checks notes…Conservatives left inflation at 2%. Conclusive proof this Government has lost control of our finances. The Chancellor must go…

As he prepares for his last parliamentary oral questions from the front bench, I want to put on record my sincere thanks to Ed Argar for serving in my Shadow Cabinet. I wish him the very best for a speedy recovery and return to full health, and so I will be making a few changes

Labour caved to the unions, and now they’re back for more. We told Wes Streeting this would happen, but he wasn’t listening. Now, we’re looking at a summer of strikes. Conservatives are the only Party who would stand up to the unions.
