Lateral medullary syndrome may not be seen well on the initial MRI within 24-48 hours from symptoms. A full neurological exam including temperature sensation on face/limbs, looking for Horner, and hiccups are clues that should trigger a repeat MRI. #stroke #meded #NeuroTwitter

Never seen such white powdery material removed from EVT before. Suggests more platelet and fibrin rich composition. On CT was low density without hyperdense sign. Literature is varied in terms of its aid in stroke etiology. 🥲
