#DDay80 🍁 On June 6th, 1944, the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division and the 2nd Armoured Brigade were tasked with establishing a bridgehead at Juno Beach. This was an 8 km stretch of beach between Sword and Gold landing beaches.

Back on the beaches of Normandy. Today, we returned to Juno Beach to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice here 80 years ago on D-Day. For some Veterans, it will be their last time returning to this beach. Lest we forget. #DDay80 #CanadaRemembers
