I wonder how much the discourse on here would shift if we were able to see which posts were published via API/bots or otherwise by people using alts/masquerading as people they are not. I’m not implying that one’s identity needs to be publicly disclosed, but privately verified.

I think a lot of us are generally disenchanted politically because we know the direction our country is heading. even when the democratic party attempts to stem the tide of authoritarianism, it’s never protected enough for republicans to swiftly reverse when they regain power.

Even if there are well intentioned idiots among the cabinet of our pres that aren’t fascist, neo nazi scum, you’d think they might consider it curious who supports their work unilaterally and who opposes it. I might personally be a bit reflective

has anyone else noticed that, regardless of tweet engagements, the top comments on most popular posts are some *far* right, nasty vitriol? i'm noticing it without fail on every viral tweet i'm seeing.

Imagine learning all these complex data science tools and scripting languages only to manage thousands of bots that go around spreading hatred and lies disguised as human. Straight up Saruman shit

The west: destroys most of the Middle East, installs fascist dictatorships in any country it can Also the west: we must stop all these Arabs from immigrating to our countries, if only there was a solution to this issue

I don’t think people are really afraid of homeless people. I think they are ashamed of their relative wealth and hate being confronted with poverty. This is the actual safety of the suburbs.
