The Perseids Meteor Shower is one of my favourites to shoot. This year I stayed in my favourite mountain hut, Cabane Mont Fort at 2457m in Verbier. It’s been a long week of early mornings and late nights. From electrical storms to meteor showers and high winds above glaciers!

The Grand Combin, one of the highest peaks in the Alps (4314m / 14,154ft). A beautiful sight to see first thing in the morning! At the height of summer the huge chunky glacial ice dominates the scene and always leaves me totally awe struck 💙 . Verbier4Vallées @VerbierResorts

Yesterday we woke up to an apocalyptic sky as the Sahara dust fell on the snow in verbier . According to @srfmeteo the sand came mainly from the north-west of Africa and took approx 2-7 days to travel from the desert to Europe. I think the car washes will be busy today!
