I've had an ostomy for nearly 20 years now and have flown many times. I let the TSA know up front I have an ostomy and an implanted medical device. It saves time and the hand tests is easy. I also carry the implant card with me and have a note from my dr that I travel with.

Sadly, history is often ugly! For instance, we weren't taught about residential schools. Perhaps that's because they continued to operate well into the 70s in the US and 1998 in Canada. I graduated from college in '98! WTF! Find the bodies & return them to their families!
