Yesterday was Day 1 of Year 16 in Education and was another whirlwind of a day filled with smiles and excitement as we welcomed students back. This sweet message from my dad was the best start. ☺️

Point O' View ES Family Engagement night included supports from many staff members to ensure all families were included in their international event. Title I VBCPS

Last night’s Book Fair, Reading, & Math Fest was a huge hit!! Big thanks to ODU Mathematics Festival , our Point O' View ES staff, and our wonderful families for helping to make it such a great event!

This fall, the ODU MathFest hosted three in-school MathFests throughout Hampton Roads! Teachers received training, professional development hours, and materials for their classrooms. All students interacted with a diverse set of activities and received giveaways at each event.

Great example for showcasing why concrete and representational experiences must precede the mimicking of abstract procedures for computation.
