Miss Magnolia Bradley London came into our lives yesterday morning and Gina and I are thrilled! Grandchild #9. Five straight boys followed by 4 consecutive girls. Healthy daughter and granddaughter, praise God! What a blessing!!

2 biggest issues I see with hitters after watching a million games. 1-hitters circle the ball with their hands and thus their barrel and leave a tiny spot for contact. Bat in- out of zone way too fast, no chance to handle ball away . 2. They don’t get a good ball to hit.

Great Tuesday night at Winter Meetings as 50 year friend RJ Harrison was honored as West Coast Scout of the Year. Such a deserved honor for a great guy and baseball lifer. Saw so many old friends that made the night even more special. A wonderful fraternity!

Oklahoma U baseball lost a legend Sunday with the passing of former head coach Enos Semore, winningest baseball coach in school history and NCAA HOF member. A great coach but a better man. All of us that knew and loved him will miss him dearly.
