Todd McCarthy Understand frustration of stakeholders on Bill 5 however we can no longer take between 7 & 12 years to get permits for in Ontario Stone, Sand & Gravel Association members. You can’t build anything without #aggregates. Same for landfills, people create waste and shouldn’t export our waste. Keep going Minister

Yea this is crushing, but Doug Ford has done a great job at being “Captain Canada” for the past three months. This action by Honda Canada Inc. is as a result of the issue around tariffs and I know the Premier is working hard, with Mark Carney and the President to resolve issues.

Pleased to see our government making even more investments into programs that have supported health care, education, workers, and infrastructure in Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes. #ONBudget2025 demonstrates we will continue to do whatever is necessary to

The gov’ts pledge to invest over $200 billion over 10 years in infrastructure, the largest in Ontario’s history is much needed. Ontario is a global leader in medical isotope production. We have an ambition plan to dominate this market by supporting McMaster University’s expansion of their nuclear reactor to 24/7 operations. Ontario's $15.5 million investment in #Budget2025 will bolster the world’s leading supply

Thanks so much Mike Harris for visiting Ontario Stone, Sand & Gravel Association Member Lafarge Canada’s Mosport #Quarry. It was the Minister and his team’s first visit to a quarry since h was sworn in a few weeks ago. Thanks for showing such keen interest in the #aggregate industry.

Very interesting to hear the clause by clause debate on Bill 5, Unleashing Ontario’s economy. Yes Ontario’s #IndigenousCommunities have concerns and I know the Government will try to amend the bill to address the potential flaws raised by First Peoples.

It takes 15+ years to build a mine in Ontario, but only 6-8 years in Australia and the EU. Standing up for Canada means challenging the status quo.

Great visit to Whitefish River First Nation with my colleague Bill Rosenberg. Had an opportunity to talk about the communities boundary claim, future opportunities for collaboration, & programs within the government. Thank you for the ever warm reception. It was a great visit.

Thanks ⁦Mark Carney⁩ for Bill C 5. It’s needed to advance projects quickly. We need these now, not in 50 years. Some in society fight regardless of logic & should not be allowed to hold up Projects, consult #IndigenousPeoples, but that’s it cbc.ca/news/politics/…
