Has anyone else come across PressReader? Discovered that via my library membership, I have free access to hundreds of magazines, including back issues. It’s amazing. History, travel, lifestyle and more. Definitely worth a look.

Can anyone recommend any digital resources which would genuinely enhance the teaching of Latin literature? I’m struggling to find anything that seems worth using other than to tick the box for digital lesson content.

Interesting to see this allotment device in the Agora museum, Athens. It was used to choose members of the Athenian jury. Wonder if it produced more random results than when I was called for jury service three times last year!

I always show my Nat 5 Latin class the Bruegel painting of Icarus’s fall when we are reading Ovid but I recently discovered Andrey Daniel’s 2009 version (To Bruegel from Trilogy) in the European Parliament in Brussels. A happy find.
