Another exciting day ahead at 'Physics of Life 2025'! Highlights include keynote talks by Satyajit Mayor & Otger Campàs (Campàs Lab), cutting-edge sessions, lunchtime talks, and a dinner at Pavilions of Harrogate - all whilst the sun shines down on us!

Very excited this work is out in Nature Physics. A wonderful collaboration between my group Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and PhysicsOfLifeLMU.

Thrilled to see this paper published Soft Matter! Check it out at doi.org/10.1039/D5SM00…. In it, we describe how the unique rheology of wormlike micelle solutions influences their unsteady flow through windy serpentine channels. Summary in the tweetorial below ⬇️

📢 Excited to share our latest paper in EPJE! We use reinforcement learning to guide microswimmers in Poiseuille flow by tuning their tumbling and swinging behavior. Thanks to Anusandhan National Research Foundation for funding! #Microswimmers #ActiveMatter 🔗link.springer.com/article/10.114…

New prepint w/ Demian Levis ignacio pagonaba Soft Materials and Interfaces (Prof. Lucio Isa) and E.Sesé-Sansa. We study active binary mixtures to unveil how two populations with different velocities interact with each other. Thanks for the great work!🥳 arxiv.org/abs/2506.15188

Congratulations Prof. Suman Chakraborty Sir

Honored to present our work on #cyanos at FisMat2025, the Italian condensed matter meeting in Venice this Friday If you're there, please stop by #ActiveMatter Loughborough Science Jan Cammann

Happy to announce a new paper: "Artificial neurons made of active matter memristors" pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art… We find that an active chiral particle can generate spiking modes in artificial neurons. Exciting new possibilities ahead ✨️ Soft Matter Loughborough Science #ActiveMatter
