“The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.“ Isaiah 26:3 In Hebrew the word translated as “peace” is shalom. However, it doesn’t just mean peace, but the peace of mind you experience when are content and fulfilled.

So the promise found in the verse above is God will bless you with contentment when you seek it in Him. What is also interesting is the adjective “perfect” is shalom as well. So God promises complete and total contentment when our mind is set on Him and our trust is based in Him

May Christ, our PRINCE OF PEACE, grant you complete and total contentment this Christmas and into the New Year.
