Mets have blown their 5R lead. The worst part is that we all expected this, even after being up all those runs.

In short, the Mets stink. As I’ve said, it’s a miracle they are even somewhat in a race for the division.. Just shows how mediocre the Phillies are that they don’t have a crazy lead over the Mets for the division. NL East is very MID.

The Mets are so bad and Stearns should be fired for this. Clear house. Start new with a new roster as well. They lose the same way every night, it’s laughable at this point. Get a lead, blow it. Rinse and repeat.

Phillies stink. Losing 2/3 to the worst team in the league over the last 2 months.. The NL East race should be over with how terrible the Mets have been, but thankfully, the Phillies haven’t done enough to put it out of reach. Mets need to get on a run, bring up young SP.

The Mets are so bad 🤣. It’s laughable at this point. What a terrible job Stearns did at the deadline. Guy should lose his job. You can’t have Cohen be the owner and be this bad on the field, with that payroll. Unacceptable. Fire a bunch of them.

If the team can get some pitching (back to back days of solid starts).. We might just be OK. Bats waking up for the stretch run. Call up some more rookie pitchers to inject some life into the rotation and let er ride.

When they hit, they can’t pitch. When the pitch, they can’t hit. It’s always the same. Put it altogether and we are a Top 2 team in the NL, just like last year’s team. They just can’t seem to put it together. Beyond frustrating season.

1 run game and the only reason it’s a 1 run game is bc an Ump missed an easy call in the 1st inning. Can’t wait for Robo Umps so we can stop dealing with this on a nightly basis. We have the tech, use it.

Mark Vientos is still on a heater. He drove in the Mets' first run tonight and just sent the go-ahead run across the plate as well. Vientos has two homers, two doubles and six RBI over his last three games.

Don’t care what the deficit in the division is. The Phillies have never scared me.

I’ve said it all year.. The Phillies aren’t very good. Their CY Young candidate on the mound and we thump em. The Mets have been trash for months, making the division race a moot point. Nobody is scared of the Phillies. We could lose this series and my opinion wouldn’t change.
