To my Korean friends: I share the joy and proudness for the Nobel prize of literature given to an extraordinary writer, 한강. “The vegetarian” was the first Korean novel I read when I was Ambassador in Seoul. I even read 2 different translations and compared style and meaning 👉🏼

Thank you Bruno Figueroa! The novel has also been translated into English by Emily Yae Won and @p_niyahmorris as WE DO NOT PART. It will be out in January 2025.
