Came up short in another well contested game tonight. Haisell Baro was awesome out of the pen getting out of a jam in a 4-3 game. He went back out for the 7th and goes 1-2-3 creating lots of weak contact. Baro had all 4 pitches working tonight and his fastball was back up to 92.

Hemmanuel Rosario was great at the dish again tonight going 2-4 with a single and a no doubter, 99mph off the bat, homer in the 9th.

8/7 @ Quebec. Mike “The Closer” McKenna strikes out the side in the 9th after chaos struck following some quarrel between the two teams. After the dust had settled, Matt Maloney came on in the 10th to strike out the side. Matt had all 3 pitches working last night.

8/12 POTN: Dillon Ryan comes in after another great day in the office for Pierce Williams and strikes out the side all looking. His low release low 90’s fastball picked up two of his three K’s tonight, the other coming on a plus changeup. Dillon Ryan

8/15 POTN: After Brockton scratches a run across in the bottom of the 8th, “Murdy” Matt Maloney comes into the game with his A stuff, putting up a crucial zero in the 9th. Matt’s fastball had serious carry all over the zone and was up to 95 tonight.🔥⛽️Matthew Maloney

Rox closer Mike McKenna, closes out the game tonight, picking up the save in a well contested game. His 2 K’s to finish the game gives Mike the Rox a new saves record. The bullpen was really sharp tonight with guys continually picking each other up in pressure spots.

The lefty Brendan O’Donnell came in clutch tonight and delivered by striking out the side. His slider was up to 86 mph and proved to be untouchable. He picked up his 26th strikeout in 26 innings and has been a go-to high leverage arm for the Rox. Brendan O'Donnell
