I love living by the ocean. It was my dream to have an ocean view, and it took nearly two years of writing in Mexico before I could afford one. I lived in a grimy apartment in America twenty years ago. Poetry in motion. Every second there are subtle inertial changes in the sea.

I decided to catch up on emails and noticed one of my essay submissions at midnight. I knew it was a rejection letter and grew terrified to read it. 90% certain it had to be a rejection. I finally mustered the courage to open the email. It's an acceptance letter for an anthology.
