Can’t believe this but The Vivienne has died age 32. She was an amazing talent, an incredible ambassador for UK drag and queer excellence as a whole. The art form won’t be the same without her. This iconic All Stars roast is just a smaller reminder of that

It can be hard to place feelings about a loss of somebody you don’t personally know, but the truth is whether through her her humour, talent or story, The Vivienne will have touched so many lives, and felt like a part of each persons story. RIP Viv. We celebrate & remember you

Genuinely shocked and devastated. A titan of the UK drag scene and the OG #DragRaceUK winner. An amazing career in West End shows recently. If this is anything to do with the bigotry towards Viv and other drag artists in the last couple of weeks, then I have nothing to say. ❤️

It breaks my heart that The Vivienne spent her last few days being relentlessly hounded by homophobic trolls for appearing in drag on Blankety Blank at Christmas, a show that famously had a drag queen host for years. Shame on you if you were a part of that, James deserved better.

A couple of years ago I had the honour of doing a talk about the life and times of the great Maisie Trollette before her documentary was shown at No. 6 Cinema 🎥. I am so sad to hear of her passing. A drag legend, an icon of the UK scene, she will always be remembered.

It really seems like more went on in that house with Mickey than we know. It’s so clear that nobody wants to talk about him in the slightest. #CBBUK

There’s ‘free speech’ and then there’s just pure hatred and insensitivity when someone has literally DIED (someone who means a lot to a lot of people regardless of whether you know who they are). What happened to just common decency and saying nothing?
