The paper I have been working on for a while is out! In this one I predicted the detectability of Globular Clusters in the full 6-year Euclid survey! And then tested detection models and size measurement using the first ERO data on the Fornax Cluster! arxiv.org/abs/2405.14015

In one of the ESA's Euclid mission ERO papers, we (Euclid Consortium) searched for globular clusters (GCs) in a field in the Fornax Cluster, focusing mostly on GCs around the dwarf galaxies in this field (the best research topic ever :D) ... #ArXiv link to paper: arxiv.org/abs/2405.13500

And ERO images are usually a single field. There will be 10000s of them paving roughly 1/3 of the full sky at the end of the mission.

He did it! That was really tough but Matthieu Bethermin is tougher!! He’s an Ironman and I’m so damn proud. 🥹 You gotta be a little crazy to do a race like that but he did it even though the marathon in the end was hard.

Last night we run the Paris 2024 Olympic mass marathon together with Matthieu Bethermin. And wow that was so rough. The heat, the insane hills, running at night. Once in a lifetime experience and we finished but that was not easy. The views and atmosphere were magnificent though 😃
