If i were starting my fitness journey today, the first thing i would learn would be the relationship between macros, calories, and bodyweight. Theres so much to learn when it comes to nutrition, but these are your foundation (and theyre not that complicated)

Your diet, like your exercise, should be improved over time. If you go from doing no exercise to running 10 miles/day, you're going to burn out and quit very fast. Similarly, if you go from McDs every day to only chicken and rice you won't last long. Sustainability first.

99% of people who protest that someone is a fake natty have never taken a set to true failure in their life, let alone done so consistently for 10+ years. You'd be surprised how powerful marginal improvements compounded over a decade can be.

One of the best pieces of advice I got growing up (from a soccer coach) was to actively try to get a yellow card ๐Ÿ˜ฑ then backoff by 1% Otherwise you're leaving some physicality on the table The takeaway? Always exploit the full extent of your resources๐Ÿ’ฏ

You didn't hit your "genetic potential" you just reached the point where the cost of changing your lifestyle outweighed the benefits you would gain by doing so. You can always be better. ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ
