Very proud to present my PhD work published Cell Stem Cell. A spatial profile of human blood development! Huge thanks to Alexander and the rest of the Medvinsky lab @crm_edinburgh and all other contributors. cell.com/cell-stem-cell…

This hamper just came through the post from my PhD program Tissue Repair PhD, Institute for Regeneration and Repair. They put a big smile on my grumpy face. We cant have our Christmas party- but the little things matter.

Delighted to see our new paper in Blood Advances. Many thanks to our collaborators and Blood Cancer UK for funding this important research!

Very proud to announce our latest paper @nature showing the development and characterisation of the first-in-class catalytic inhibitor of METTL3 against AML. A superb collaboration between our lab (Milner Therapeutics Institute, Wellcome Sanger Institute), Storm Therapeutics and Tony Kouzarides Lab disq.us/t/3wgxg9e

In a paper published today in Nature, see how exciting work at the Milner Institute, in collaboration with Storm Therapeutics , has made a promising step towards developing a new drug for treating acute myeloid leukaemia. bit.ly/3vk6SLB Tony Kouzarides Lab Kostas Tzelepis

So pleased to see our CITED2 paper out in StemCellReports. We found that Cited2 deletion results in HSC loss via Mcl1 & Pten downregulation. Incredibly, we reveal that unperturbed hematopoiesis can be sustained long-term while the HSC pool is depleted! doi.org/10.1016/j.stem…

A time and single-cell resolved model of hematopoiesis: tinyurl.com/2s3vhr8r. With Kamil R Kranc and Donal O'Carroll groups, we have generated a new model of hematopoiesis, fit for the single cell genomics era, building on Fabian Theis group tinyurl.com/ywpxtrum. Cambridge Stem Cell Institute

Great to give a talk European Hematology Association #ehaRecon22 in Palermo! A pretty amazing place to spend a few days talking science! Barts Cancer Institute (Queen Mary) Kamil R Kranc

Very happy to have taken part to the inaugural EHA research conference European Hematology Association! Bravo to Vilma Dembitz, Hannah Lawson, Chris Mapperley, @SyedAMian for your amazing talks 🔥

Preprint alert! biorxiv.org/content/10.110… A very enjoyable work led by Vilma Dembitz perseverance and talent but also made possible by the help provided by a wide range of excellent senior and junior collaborators. A refreshing experience for a young academic! Thread 👇 1/10

Delighted to share our new work in Nature Cancer in collaboration with Schofield Group led by Hannah Lawson & James Holt-Martyn. We found that HIF hydroxylases are potent therapeutic targets in AML. The ICR. nature.com/articles/s4301…. 1/4
