Maple Crest Gardens are thriving! STEM students traveled outside to collect items for their STEM Survival Projects and observe all the life buzzing in the gardens.

We applied our previous learning of the scientific method to our gummy bear labs in 7th grade science w/ Ms. Willis! We worked through the 1st few steps: asking a ?, conducting research, & starting by measuring and identifying our variables. Data analysis will start tomorrow! ❤️

Shoutout to our STEM students in Mr. Culp’s class! Our Robotics class was hard at work engineering a 3D model of an extension system. These future innovators are proving every day that the possibilities in STEM are endless! They are building the future, one design at a time! ❤️

Color mixing isn’t just art—it’s science in action! Students in Ms. Nicoson’s class explored ratios, experimentation, and problem-solving to create new colors, tints, and shades when given only the primary colors, black, and white to start! ❤️🎨💙

How many schools can say they have a circus class? Not many but we do! Today, students got to work with Eric Craft (Peru Amateur Circus) who led an incredible juggling clinic! Programs like this aren’t just fun but they build focus, coordination, & creativity! Hands-on learning!

6th/7th took on the Egg Drop Challenge in Mr. Hemmerich’s class! This popular STEM experiment is about applying real-world physics, engineering principles, and problem-solving skills in a fun and memorable way as well as learning about gravity and energy absorption as well! ❤️🥚
