Councillors surgery open at HH Library until noon

Lots and lots of the potholes that were patched last year are breaking up again in the winter weather. Quick fix repairs on the cheap are no substitute for resurfacing, but the latter is significantly costlier - and some streets are now patched-up patchwork 😱

We get that emergency utilities works are sometimes necessary but wish this work hadn't been started on Friday and left as an eyesore and obstacle over the weekend. We gather it is due to complete next week 😫

Newton Road pavement situation not helped by vans parking on it either - though we were pleasantly surprised that this one was moved to where it should have parked seconds after this photo was taken!
