Hundreds of support staff keep Antarctic research stations running. For decades, workers have had little to no protection from sexual harassers and stalkers | Opinion trib.al/11gd91k

I'm seeing people scoff at the ad showing the wife privately voting against her husband's wishes. "It's so patronizing to women!" "Nobody has a marriage like that!" Just a reminder: this guy has 113K followers and there are more like him.

seeing people encouraging trans youth to commit suicide because of this election is sickening and terrifying. To all my trans mutuals still in their youth (and those well into adulthood) YOU MATTER AND NEED TO LIVE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. YOU ARE DESERVING OF LIFE

There is nothing I can say to make this better. To all the trans ppl, lgbt+, poc, muslim ppl, women, and all now in danger, I’m so sorry the US failed you, please find support in friends, loved ones and trusted members of your communities. You are loved more than you are hated!!

So to America, I say this: Any diet that consists of only one source will lead to malnutrition. The same is true of our media diet. Question sources of information and motives in every scenario. Arm yourself with facts by doing research. We will all be better off for it.

Anyone saying “your body, my choice” is saying they’re a rapist — or an aspiring rapist. Law enforcement authorities, take note.

Cís friends, I need you to hear this: Putting trans people in camps won't look like putting trans people in camps. It'll look like banning HRT (just like mifepristone), then criminalizing possession of estradiol or testosterone w/o a prescription (just like marijuana). 1/7

🇺🇸 Thank you to all the men and women who have worn our country’s uniform in honorable service of our great nation, especially my parents, family members, in-laws, friends, colleagues and constituents here in Gaithersburg. We are all forever in your debt 🙏🏻

Beach Haiku I resisted for a long time because I believed in staying to make the light. But I just migrated to 🦋 and the community there is vibrant and active, without all of the queasy feelings I have here. There are tools and starter packs to ease the transition. Worth considering.
