The scene from Upper Tantallon this morning. And fire evacuation area map. If you are in that zone and haven’t left the HRM is urging people to do so so resources meant to fight the fire aren’t used to rescue people

Preliminary estimates indicate that approximately 200 homes or structures have been damaged as a result of the fires. A full assessment of the damage cannot yet be confirmed. Details: fal.cn/3yDqo

We have a report of a new fire in the Sandy Lake West area of Hammonds Plains. Air and ground support are being rerouted to the area. This is all the information we have at this time, we will continue to provide updates as they become available.

After listening to this presentation, I've to say, all schools should follow this model. I think how this model was originally introduced, created a lot of misconceptions, but after listening to this, I really hope that more schools move to this model.
